The lights worked great! The have a lower setting,left/right mode and a strobe mode.Probably going again tonight without the kids to have a peaceful evening.Lady at the ramp had her kids there and we had an extra board so it ended up being kids night.Im tired.

Evidently I need to lose more weight or get a bigger SUP.Im ordering a ATX Navigator in red.12'6"and carries #400.I guess I can go off the diet for a while! The other boards were fine for paddling and carrying a little gear but they are rated around my weight of #230 .Add a fishing crate, cast net, drinks and a few cigars and I was low in the water and paddling pretty hard.Board still only weighs #33 so I should be able to carry it when Im old and bald.

I guess Ill get the Navigator another time.Wife ordered the Adventure XL for heavier riders  Its padded on the whole deck so its comfy though. When my body hurts I can just lay down and relax.Board is 12 ft and around 30#so I can still lift on bad days. The rig my kid is on is the Journey with SUPGLO underwater lights on deck,SUPGLO headband,SUPSAFE lifejacket holder and Waterbrands waterproof phone pack for skinny legs or your arm.
Shoulder and knee gave out coming back last night but we managed to load the boards and limp on home.

Went down to the Morgan and scrubbed the hull and deck and wiped the inside down too.All this in the rain.Cleared up enough to go paddle a little on the SUP.
