Mama scored a condo next week in Key Largo.

I'm now on oxygen and can't walk far or fast but I can doddle along until the batteries run dry. I'm going to take three days and leisurely drive down from Cincinnasty and she will fly to PGD and we will drive on from there. Take Rt 27 as far as we can.

Ideas on what to do? After listing to "An American Dream" a zillion times past 40 yrs wouldn't mind going to Coconut Grove and see what's there but honestly I'm short on street smarts so is it somewhere I ought avoid? Vickie is bound and determined to go to key West but I imagine a day will be enough. Love to get on a sailboat for a daysail if anyone has recommendations. Obviously I can't crew anything with sails but a ride would be nice. Stop by and visit JJD. I think he is boatless nowadays.

Front st. in Key West has a Cuban Restaurant thats pretty good.Mel Fishers museum is a short walk away. There are sunset sails out of Key West.
Islamorada has Worldwide Sportsman(Bass Pro Shop)Tiki bar on the water and decent food.
Most of the time Im in the keys Im in the water or fishing. We rent a house for the week and cook our seafood at the house. We do the Key West trip for the women to shop and drink for a day.
Enjoy the warm weather!Snowed here today.

GP was preparing Vickie for my eminent demise and I got tired of the "learned" doctors trying to suck every dime out of our pocketfuls w/o actually doing anything to help me before I croaked so I decided it was up to me to fix me. I had lost 35#.

Spent time on the interweb matching ALL my symptoms looking for a root cause to all my problems and I found it.

Went to the GP and told him I wanted to be treated for chronic fungal invasion.

Started on the meds, got in the car, and drove ultimately to Key West. I'm all better and in fact better than I have been in decades!

Well it looked OK on the desk top LOL

Cool! 8-) Thats why they call it PRACTICING medicine. My doctor is an old school cuban guy.We have a discussion and figure what Im doing best with.Switched from Diclofenac to 800 mg Ibuprofen and stopped the Flexeril and Tramadol.I havent used a cane in over two years.Got a Cortisone shot in the knee with a big ass needle to help me walk.Felt good enough to get another Harley
Most old people(RogueWave lol) walk faster than me but any day above ground is a good day!

Freedive, that's freakin funny. I'm still laughing. Nice to see old mates still on board. I really miss the old L&A days.
