Hey what's up!

I'm looking for recommendations for a bareboat catamaran charter in the Bahamas for a group of non-sailing friends. Anybody care to offer suggestions on a good charter company I can contact? Know of anyone offering 'Owner's time'?

Thanks!

We used Dream Yacht Charters out of Marsh Harbour, Abaco the last time. They were easy to work with.

So, Skankamankus, gentleman of the outgoing tide, still burning it at both ends? We're back in the same digs in the V.I., but bouncing back and forth. Got a Tartan 37 in refit mode to shuffle down the ditch and the thorny path after hurricane season, before Christmas winds kick in. Just a sightseeing trip. Ain't been to the DR since the '80's. How are you doing anyway? Life's for living. Do it.

Yeah, I watched a guy with his kid on the first ride of the bagger for the Spring season the other day. I immediately thought THAT'S a bad idea. I still do Thirsty Thursdays with the boys and see what new creations they've come up with, but Papa needs a new windlass, outboard, etc. and, hopefully, a lobster boat for the V.I.

I ain't been over to JVD. I can see it from the porch, and there's a live feed on Youtube from the Soggy Dollar. One of the neighbors has a couple of Callwood's grandchildren working for him fishing and helping with gear, and I run into Foxy's son in law or ex son in law or whatever - he's living in an apartment in the neighbor's, fishing 24-7. As summer approaches, Foxy and Tessa used to head for Australia. I think they have a house there. Last I heard, Ivan Chinnery was not doing great and had relocated to FL and the daughter was running the show. Justine's was blown away in the hurricanes and has been rebuilt. Ain't heard nothing from Uncle Wendell.

Yep, headed to Guatemala in early June aboard a 56' Mikado. Key West, Dry Tortugas, Isla, Belize, Livingston and up the Rio Dulce, then the chicken bus and a plane ride home!
